Cuspóirí | Objectives
Is iad cuspóirí an Chumainn an t-oideachas a chur ar aghaidh agus, go speisialta, ‘sna modhanna seo leanas:
The aims of the Society are to promote education especially in the following methods:
(a) Labhairt na Gaeilge a fhorleathnú;
To encourage the spread of spoken Irish.
(b) Scoileanna a bhunú agus a chothú, idir bhunscoileanna, mheánscoileanna agus scoileanna samhraidh nó scoileanna aon ráithe eile, maille le ranganna chun an Ghaeilge a theagasc agus chun ábhair eile a theagasc trí Ghaeilge;
To establish and maintain schools, primary, secondary and summer schools (or any other schools), to teach the language and other subjects through the medium of the Irish Language.
(c) Cúram Coláiste chónaithe a ghabháil de láimh;
To administrate a residential College.
(d) Leabhair scoile agus saothair éigse agus irisleabhair i nGaeilge a fhoilsiú;
To publish books and other materials in Irish.
(e) Litríocht i nGaeilge na haimsire seo a fhreastal;
To assist Irish literature of the day.
(f) Scoláireachtaí i gColáiste na Rinne a bhronnadh ar dhaoine a bhfuil an Ghaeilge ón gcliabhán acu;
To provide Coláiste na Rinne scholarships to persons with Irish from birth.
(g) Scoláireachtaí taighde sa tSean-Ghaeilge agus sa Mheán- Ghaeilge a bhunú agus a bhronnadh;
To provide and present scholarships for studies/research in old Irish.
(h) Suim a mhúscailt i gceol agus rince an tsinsir agus cabhrú le hathbheochan sean-nósanna na nGael i gcoitinne;
To awaken interest in the music and dance of our ancestors and to help in every way in renewing interest in the old customs of the Irish people in general.
(i) Cabhair a thabhairt chun feabhas a chur ar shlí bheatha lucht labhartha na Gaeilge i Rinn Ó gCuanach, sna Déise;
To help and improve the livelihood of the Irish speakers i Rinn Ó gCuanach.
(j) I gcoitinne, gach ní eile a dhéanamh a bhaineann nó a chabhraíonn le cuspóir de na cuspóirí réamhráite.
